Stove Operating Principle

The operating principle of the "Ekozhар Pro" series stoves is based on forced air convection. The fan draws in cold air from the room and channels it through the heat exchange chamber between the combustion chamber and the outer casing. This way, heat from the combustion chamber is captured and directed into the room through thermal output pipes. For delivering heated air to an adjacent room, a metal corrugated pipe can be used.

Air Intake and Damper Valve

An adjustable valve (damper) is installed in the combustion chamber's intake pipe, which allows precise control of the air entering the combustion chamber, optimizing efficiency and extending burn time on a single fuel load. This valve can finely adjust the intake pipe's diameter, enabling two operating modes: burning and smoldering.

Combustion Chamber Wall Thickness

In the "Ekozhар Pro" series, special attention is paid to the thickness of the combustion chamber walls, which is 9 mm. This durable metal guarantees a service life of at least 10 years.

Outer Casing

The casing is made from 1.5 mm thick sheet metal. This thickness was chosen to provide structural rigidity while maintaining efficient heat transfer. A thicker casing wall would reduce heat transfer to the room and lower overall stove efficiency.

Secondary Gas Combustion Chamber

The "Ekozhар Pro" stoves utilize a secondary gas combustion chamber. In this chamber, oxygen from the air mixes with flue gases, and under the influence of open flames, they ignite, producing extra heat. This increases stove efficiency and economy, delivering more heat with less fuel.

Combustion Chamber Door Latch

The door handle serves as a latch, securing it tightly in the closed position. A high-temperature sealing cord around the door frame ensures flue gases cannot escape into the room.

Heat Exchange Chamber

The space between the combustion chamber walls and the outer casing acts as a heat exchange chamber. Forced airflow through this chamber evenly draws heat from the combustion chamber walls. Physically separated from the combustion chamber, this design prevents flue gases from entering the room.

Built-in Fan

The fan's location is optimized to draw the coldest air from the room and channel it through the heat exchange chamber, directing it where needed via flexible or rigid ventilation ducts.

Ekojar (formerly "Brest") Pro 1000 vertical wood stove

The Ekozhar Pro 1000 heating furnace is designed to heat large rooms with an area of up to 400 m² and a volume of up to 1000 m³.

The power of this furnace model is 40 kW, which allows you to quickly warm up large spaces, including production halls, warehouses, or even large houses.

The efficiency is 91%.

Construction of the Ekozhar Pro 1000 furnace

The furnace furnace is made of a thick-walled pipe, 9 mm thick. The casing is made of metal, 1.5 mm thick. This is enough for the stove to operate efficiently for more than one season and does not prevent good heat transfer to the room.

One of the key features of the furnace is the secondary gas afterburner system, which significantly increases fuel efficiency. The secondary gas afterburner chamber is designed in such a way that oxygen from the air is mixed with the flue gases, and under the influence of an open fire, they ignite, generating additional heat. This increases the efficiency of the furnace up to 91% and improves the furnace's economy.

The stove operates in two modes: combustion and smoldering. The burning mode is used to ignite the stove and quickly warm up the room, and the smoldering mode maintains the set temperature after heating, significantly saving fuel. Switching between the modes and adjusting the intensity of combustion is carried out using two slide dampers on the door and chimney pipes.

There is a plate inside the firebox that helps to cool the gases before they enter the chimney, which increases the service life of the chimney and the stove as a whole. The stove door is equipped with a heat-resistant cord that prevents smoke from escaping into the room.

Аctive thermal circuit

Our heating stoves use an active heat circuit to distribute heat efficiently and maintain the optimum room temperature, as well as to increase the energy efficiency of the stove. This circuit is a combination of corrugated tubes and a fan connection for blowing around the firebox or along the contour of the stove walls. Thanks to the active heat circuit, the stove can maintain stable heating even after combustion is complete, cooling down more slowly and releasing the accumulated heat. This reduces fuel consumption and ensures constant comfort in the room.
